John C. Pedersen, M.D.

Dr. Pedersen has more than 10 years’ experience as plastic and reconstructive surgeon and has extensive training in post weight loss body contouring. His special interests include breast rejuvenation, liposuction and abdominoplasty. Dr. Pedersen is currently an Instructor in Plastic Surgery at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM).

Dr. Pedersen is a pioneer, and currently acts as director, of Summa Heath System's Post-bariatric Body Contouring Program. He is an instructor on the use of the Quill® closure system and leader in its use for post-bariatric body contouring. He has been on the Board of Trustees at the Akron Art Museum for five years and currently serves as the Executive Vice President.
